Most convenient lighter I've ever used!
Now I'll be honest.. I haven't bought a Linse from TAG, but I have been using
them for quite some time now so when I saw that the lighter had no reviews
on the infamous TAG site I felt the need to make one myself!
First off let me say this lighter is one innovative little critter.. It has a nozzle on the top of the lighter
that allows you to maneuver your flame to prevent burns and awkward lights. Sounds and looks gimmicky, I know..
However at the end of the day I absolutely LOVE having a torch like flame for waterpipes and recessed classic bic style for cigarettes.
I do have to point out however that it features an electric style ignition system for all of the old school bic-heads out there
who enjoy a reliable flint. I personally haven't had one die on me yet nor had any problems and I've used strictly for about three weeks, but It is
something to keep in mind.
Final synopsis? These things rock. At around double-triple the price of bics, I wouldn't mind spending the extra money on the Linse
at all if it means I get a maneuverable flame. As I said I know the nozzle sounds gimmicky, but it truly is convent. It may just be one of those things you have to try to believe.
Unfortunately it's not refillable.
Awesome design but non-refillable?!
Let me start off by saying the flame tilt function of this FLEK lighter is practical and useful if you smoke out of large bubblers. It simply makes it easier and less of a hassle to smoke out of anything you can imagine, due to the 4 stage versatility of the flame tilt.
There is one HUGE con with this lighter though, It is non-refillable! I took this for granted and assumed such an elaborate design must have a refill plug, since there was no indication of it being refillable or not.
